Mission Statement/Conversation
with Jym-Nate Gordon 10/07/2003:
(Written by Heidi Lynn Geisbauer)
Jym-Nate Gordon is a superb writer. He is also quite bi-polar.
When it comes to business, he is professional, positive, organized, and
always in a forward motion. However, in the personal sense, he is light
hearted, sincere, and often, comical to the point of aggravating. He is
in the latter state of mind now, as I talk to him over the phone. He is
in his car, driving up interstate 395 in California. He is looking for
a place to shoot his short film, "Victor's Run".
HLG: Have you found a site yet?
JNG: I found one place, but when I got out of the car, there was a tarantula
the size of a dinner plate standing there by the side of the road.
HLG: Geez!
JNG: And I think it could fly.
HLG: What?!
JNG: There was just something about the way it looked at me. You know?
Like it was saying, "I'll kill you if you come any closer."
HLG: I hate spiders. Especially if they are the size of a dinner plate
and can fly.
JNG: It just had too much confidence. Either it could fly, or it had a
gun.
HLG: Well, I called because I'm writing for the website, and we need a
mission statement.
JNG: Our mission is to make money, so that I can buy a penguin.
HLG: This should be kind of serious.
JNG: Okay
.I want to save a penguin. Is that better?
HLG: No.
JNG: So then, what should I say?
HLG: What do you want to do with Blind Kitten Films?
JNG: Okay
serious
no penguin jokes.
HLG: Please, no penguin jokes.
